Have you assessed your swards for grazing and silage? At PRAg we specialise in maximising the potential from your grass. 2015 will be more important than any other year to get the most Milk and Meat from grass. Is it creeping bent and meadow grass in your silage swards, that's produced the 10.5 ME, increasing your feed costs and reducing milk performance from silage or DLWG in beef and sheep?
Perhaps you have a new ley that is being dominated with chickweed and you want to maintain the clover? Give us a call and we will more than happy to come out and assess your current swards. If you want to come down and take a look our 2013 and 2014 grass plots that’s not a problem. We would like to share the performance of each plot with you and get your opinions. We continually score these plots throughout the year to give a whole calendar picture.
Soil is the key to maximising grass and ensuring P, K and Ph levels are at optimum. While assessing your swards we can take a soil sample and revert back to you with a plan to go forward with. You may have compaction caused by machinery or livestock. If you have a doubt about a field 9 times out of 10 you will be right to trust your experience and judgement.
At PRAg we supply the seed, chemicals and fertiliser but don’t stop there. Our FACTS and BASIS qualified staff are there to provide current industry leading advice. Put your trust in a professional Agronomist who understands your end goals and how to achieve them.
