🌾 Fertiliser Update 17th June 2025 

 – Prices 📈 Rising as Global Supply Tightens

The surge in prices is due to several global disruptions:

• Egypt halts all urea production after Israel shuts gas pipeline amid regional tensions ⚠️

• Iran suspends urea & ammonia output as a precaution 🚫

• 🛩️ Drone strike hits major Russian plant, impacting supply 💥

• EU to impose extra tariffs on Russian fertiliser from 1 July (€40–€45/t) 💶📅

• UK imports tightening as 🇪🇺 European plants run reduced hours or shut for maintenance 🏭🛠️

📉 Some terms are available, but many suppliers are currently out of the market evaluating their pricing 

Following the withdrawal of all Fert terms from all suppliers on Friday after the Israel/Iran situation 🌍⚠️,

CF & Origin have returned to the market with fresh terms.⬆️ Higher prices but expected given the global fert supply situation 🌐, so well worth consideration if needing to take any cover as prices are expected to firm further unfortunately 📈😕.
