A foliar acting herbicide for the control of CREEPING THISTLE in established grassland. 4 basic rules: Weed Size - there is an optimal size for each weed. If the weeds are too big or too small, the final level of control can be reduced. Thistlex works best when the thistles are at rosette growth stage. Active Growth - if weeds are under stress e.g. drought, cold, diseased or damaged by insects, translocation in the plants will be reduced., affecting the final level of control. Water Volume - the recommended water volume is 200 l/ha. This needs to be increased if the weeds are shaded by lush grass or dense weed populations. Rate of Use - always use at 1.0ltr/ha. Benefits: At 1.0 l/ha Thistlex offers long-term control Trials indicate up to 80% control 12 months after application Early treatment removes weed competition to allow grass growth Control of underground root systems offers long-term results Safer to the grass than other conventional herbicides Economical for overall application Saves time and effort on repeat applications in the long term Rainfast in 2 hours.
